As Daffodil Day is celebrating its 30th anniversary on Friday 24thMarch this year, we want to show our support to this life-saving cause. Since we all know of someone who has been affected by cancer, we really want to help make a difference. The Irish Cancer Society predicts that “this year, 40,000 people will be diagnosed with cancer which is 150 cases per day”[i]. Each year, thousands of individuals, volunteers, businesses and communities join together to sell daffodils, hold events, donate and raise money to support cancer research in Ireland. The Hair and Beauty Company’s Donations
So this year, we are teaming up with Milk_Shake UK to support Daffodil Day. Starting from today (9th March) until Daffodil Day (24th March) we will be donating 10% of all Milk_Shake sales in our stores to the Irish Cancer Society. Customers who purchase a Milk_Shake product in our stores or over the phone within this period will also be entered into a draw to win a €100 raffle prize.
