AGENDA FOR TRAINING SEMINAR

Cost including Kit

Minimum of 4 Students (Course Duration: 2 Hours)
50% deposit to be paid maximum of 2 weeks before training (non-refundable)

1. Introduction
A brief history of Caflon’s worldwide business activities.
Background information relating to legislation governing hygienic ear piercing within the UK and Ireland.

2. Caflon Products
A detailed description of all the various raw materials our products are manufactured from, together with the medical criteria, which influence our choice of materials.
An insight into our manufacturing, plating and packaging operations, with particular emphasis on our sterilisation methods plus a brief explanation about the starter kit.

3. Equipment Demonstration
A detailed explanation of the various examinations, which must always be carried out prior to piercing an ear lobe.

A complete and thorough demonstration on how to use our Government approved cassette ear piercing system.

Each student will be required to perform a simulated ear piercing demonstration before being allowed to pierce their model’s ears.

4. Aftercare
A detailed explanation of the procedures which must be explained to each client after they have
had their ears pierced.

5. Models
Each student will be asked to implement all our training procedures and pierce the ear lobes of their model under the close supervision of our training manager. All models must be over 16 years old.

6. Cartilage
Highlighting the differences between cartilage and lobe piercing using the Caflon Blu System.

7. Seminar Conclusion
The students will be given this opportunity to ask any questions or to request clarification on any matters which they have not fully understood.

CAFLON STARTER KIT

A Caflon ear piercing kit will include the following:

1. A precision made ear piercing instrument approved by the Government’s Public Health
Laboratory Service.

2. A non-toxic marking pen x 1.

3. Antiseptic Towelettes x 24.

4. 24 Pairs of Assorted Ear Studs. (These ear studs/clasps will be packaged
in individually sterilised blister packs).

5. Aftercare Lotion (4 Bottles).
6. All presented in a blue carrying case.
