The main focus of what we were discussing would be styling, particularly how to use different tools effectively and how to create a variety of looks using straighteners, curling irons, curlers, and dryers. Our educator will cover how to prepare the hair correctly, what products to use, and how to choose the best approach depending on the client’s hair type and the desired result. For example, whether the client wants beach waves, more texture, softer movement, tighter curls, or simply a gentle bend in the hair. Understanding which tool and technique to choose for each result.

We will also show how to finish and polish the style properly—how to brush out curls, create texture, add volume through backcombing, and achieve a professional finish.

These finishing techniques are just as important as creating the curl itself, as they are often what makes the style look modern, long-lasting, and salon quality.

Course Structure:

Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Morning: Theory – Understanding hair prep, sectioning, and styling fundamentals
Afternoon: Practical – Hands-on upstyling practice

What You Need to Bring:

Models are preferred for the practical session or you can bring your own mannequin head
Styling tools (combs, brushes, hairdryer, straightener, clips, etc.)
Towels will be provided
