Sensitive skin, as we outlined in our first post of this series, is characterised by redness, rashes and dry patches. This skin type is known to develop premature wrinkles and it also reacts to products with strong ingredients such as alcohol or other astringents. It is important for people with sensitive skin to use products suited to this skin type that also contain calming ingredients so as not to irritate the skin.
